With no other way to get out but by defeating the Evil Lord Diablo, the players must encounter the Lord of Terror, beat him along with his apprentices, and get out in the world.ĭiablo offers various character classes such as Rogues, Warriors, Sorcerers and allows the players to use their unique character-specific abilities to defeat the enemies. The game takes place under the Town of Tristram, where the player gets to travel through sixteen Randomly Generated game levels and fights off the evil in many dungeons. The game allows the players to take control of the character of a lone Hero, who struggles to battle against the legions of enemies to get out of the world of Diablo, The Lord of Terror. Diablo is set in the fictitious Kingdom of Khanduras, located deep in the world of Sanctuary. One of my friends, who supposedly knew more than the rest of us about the game, told us that in co-op mode all exp and money gained from killing monsters is automatically shared among all party members.Īfter a few hours of play though, we started doubting that this was not true.
